New, steamy allegations have embattled pitcher Roger Clemens on the defensive once again. Already fighting accusations of steroid abuse amidst a mountain of evidence, he is now denying accusations of a more personal nature. In a story broken by The New York Daily News, allegations have surfaced in Mr. Clemens’ suit against Brian McNamee that Clemens and country singer Mindy McCready had a decade long affair that began when McCready was 15 years old. While the accusations are completely different in nature, Clemens seems to be employing the same defense.

   “Once again, ‘guilty until proven innocent’ seems to be the case when it comes to defaming my character” stated Clemens. “Just as in the case with the steroid accusations, my word apparently means nothing compared to these whispered rumors, allegations, credit card receipts, recorded phone calls, eyewitness accounts, photographs, etc. etc. etc. And just like the supposed steroid controversy, Mindy McCready was simply supplying me with vitamin B12.”    “With her vagina.”
