After recalling over 21 million Chinese made toys worldwide for fear of lead contamination, Mattel VP Thomas Bebrowski has issued an apology to China’s product safety chief Li Changjiang.
The public apology stems from China’s insistence, and Mattel’s subsequent admission that part of the recall was related to Mattel’s faulty designs rather than Chinese manufacturing flaws.
